The health and safety of our employees, patients, customers and suppliers is of fundamental importance to Bracco Imaging, and this priority has been the driving force behind our swift and effective response to the rapidly evolving spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
The company is constantly making sure that all the suitable measures have been adopted to guarantee our employees' safety and business continuity to support the healthcare systems across the world.
To help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented a smart working mode for all employees where such a solution is technologically and operationally feasible, together with business travel restrictions. Moreover, we have implemented stringent measures to ensure that Bracco representatives can continuously support healthcare professionals in a secure way. We are working diligently to provide healthcare professionals exceptional customer services, related to the use of our products and solutions, and technical support.
To date, Bracco has seen no significant disruptions to its business operations across the globe. As we work to maintain normal operations, we are exercising extreme caution and strictly following advice and guidance, from the World Health Organization (WHO) and national authorities, and constantly reviewing our precautionary measures.
We are actively monitoring our global operations on a daily basis and working with customers to help ensure continued safe and timely support to meet their needs, fully in accordance with local and international health authority recommendations.
Bracco products, both diagnostic imaging agents and medical devices, are produced in manufacturing facilities in North America, Latin America, Europe, and China that meet or exceed required safety and sanitization provisions. Prior to release from their manufacturing facilities, products undergo well-established quality tests.
We are continuously evaluating our entire supply chain to determine any potential impact on the supply of our products as countries around the world come to terms with managing the ongoing developments related to the COVID-19 virus. We are in constant communication with our suppliers to ensure that we mitigate the effects of any local or international restrictions that could potentially impact the distribution processes.
